The details of the rest of the 2012 pre-season have been finalised and can now be downloaded above.  Elsternwick Park Oval No. 4 will be our training base for skills and fitness sessions, but there will also be other activity sessions at other venues. The date for the intra-club game, two practice games and season launch have also been locked in and can be found in the schedule as well.

The SFL has released the 2012 fixture for Division 2. The Rockers first game of the season will be away at Keeley Park vs. Southern Dragons on April 14th. Our first home game for the season will be held at the newly resurfaced McDonald Reserve in Round 3 on the 28th of April. Not only will the game be our first game on the new home soil for the year, but it will be a re-match of last year’s ‘SEN Rivalry of the Round’ fixture against Hampton Hammers. We will play every other team twice this season and our fixture highlight is three home games in a row in June.

Pre-season training for Black Rock Football Club has begun. Sessions will begin at 6pm on Mondays and Wednesday until Christmas. Players will be notified of the venue via text from coach Simon Beshara. It is expected that all players attend and would be great if any new recruits or friends that are keen to join Black Rock’s 2012 campaign get down as well

We will also be holding a Christmas catch up in early December, most likely on a Sunday at Doyle’s… Check back for full details next week.
